Who We Are
MHS Planning & Design is a Texas-based firm of landscape architects, civil engineers, planners, and grant writers. We have assisted over 75 counties, cities, towns, municipal utility districts, camps, churches, and private companies with their parks, recreation, and public space needs throughout Texas.
What We Do
We lead outdoor recreational projects from start to finish. We take your project from initial city planning and grant writing, through design and engineering, all the way to construction oversight and the ribbon cutting.
Sanger Downtown Park
Sanger’s new downtown park will serve as a catalyst for future development, and will integrate seamlessly with the existing downtown. The unique character of the Sanger community takes center stage with this project.
Bob Day Tennis Complex
The project included a clubhouse, covered outdoor seating, a terraced premier court, spectator seating, food truck area with picnic space, native landscaping with existing trees, parking, and neighborhood trail connections.
Paddling Trail Strategic Plan
This data was used to create land use & access maps for public education, input, and needs analysis and to create rendered layouts. The plan was honored as the 2023 cover story for the tourism organization Uniquely Longview.
Wimberley Parks Master Plan
The Wimberley Parks and Recreation Department understood the importance of having a comprehensive master plan because of their need to enhance existing parks and various environmental concerns that have arisen over the past several years.
